Storage & Application

ICING SHEETS

Our edible icing toppers are easy to use and can be applied to fondant, buttercream, ganache, royal icing and other smooth cake surfaces.

Prepare your cake

Fondant: lightly mist until just tacky, not wet. Too much moisture can soften the sheet and cause colours to run.

Buttercream: smooth the surface and let it firm slightly before applying.

Helpful tips

• Leave a small border when cutting, if preferred.

• Peel gently without pulling or stretching the sheet.

• Check the position before making contact—the topper is difficult to reposition once attached.

PREMIUM WAFER PAPER

Our premium wafer paper toppers are thicker and firmer than standard wafer paper, making them ideal for flat cake decorations and upright cupcake toppers.

Helpful tips

• No backing sheet to peel off.

• Flat toppers: use a little edible glue on the back only if needed.

• Upright cupcake toppers: gently insert the lower edge into firm frosting—no glue needed.

• Excess moisture can curl wafer paper. Keep the printed face dry.

• On buttercream, add shortly before serving once firm, or use a thin fondant backing and let it firm first.

Storage & best results

• Keep flat and sealed at room temperature, away from heat, moisture and sunlight.

• Do not refrigerate or freeze unused toppers.

• Follow the best-before supplied with your order.

• Apply shortly before serving. Avoid very wet icing or cream.

• If the cake needs chilling, refrigerate it without the topper and add the topper before serving.

• Fridge moisture can affect the print. Always follow the cake’s own storage requirements.
